I need help: Abuse in Relationships
What we believe about abuse in relationships.
“Abuse is any attempt to control or force someone to do something they are unwilling to do through verbal or physical intimidation, violence, or fear."
In our relationship series you heard about: difficult marriages, hard marriages, painful marriages and relationships. We want to clarify what we mean by hard and painful, by discussing what we are not talking about.
We are Not talking about enduring an:
-Abusive marriage Verbally
-Abusive marriage Emotionally
-Abusive marriage Physical
-Abusive marriage Sexually
Abuse against you as an image bearer in Marriage, or in any romantic or platonic relationship has no place in the confines of marriage nor the sibling relationship between brothers and sisters in Christ! “Abuse is any attempt to control or force someone to do something they are unwilling to do through verbal or physical intimidation, violence, or fear." This is not the heart of God. Below we have resources to help you talk about abuse and to get safe from abuse.
